Aims and Objectives:

This course will explore techniques and approaches to help develop positive relationships with families to attain better outcomes for children and young people.

Outcomes: By the end of this course participants will have:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of resistance and how to work with it;
  • Explored and practiced techniques that assist practitioners in engaging with families;
  • Built upon skills and explored direct tools that encourage conversation and change;
  • Explore techniques to work with aggression.
