Aims & Objectives :
- To increase understanding of the influences of our own and families race, culture, faith or beliefs on the parenting of children;
- To gain confidence in talking about our own and other people’s attitudes and beliefs and how these might affect judgment when working in partnership;
- To improve practice skills in these areas during the process of assessments/offering services;
- Explore how we balance risk and protective factors within any scenario and consider our baseline for concern;
- To discuss any local issues regards the topic.
